Let us help you engage your guests, and make that first turn around the dance floor extra special for both you and those that love you. We can help ensure the moves you learn for your special day will be smooth and relaxed, without the need of a cocktail. Our goal is you teach you some great moves for the dance floor that you can use for the rest of your lives while also helping you have fun on your wedding day.
I hate dancing, and when I realized my fiancé was actually going to hold me to a half-hearted commitment I made to learn a tango number for our 'first dance', I freaked out. Somehow, after spending a few months with Robert at Convergence, my panic transformed into excitement and we nailed the dance. Not only is Robert a gifted dancer and all around cool dude, he was genuinely interested in our performance, the choreography, and consistently patient and motivational in our lessons. He made the learning experience fun, which I never expected would be the case. We couldn't have asked for a better teacher and friend.
My husband and I wanted to get dance lessons for our wedding, but COVID hit and everything shut down. When St. Louis opened back up we had only a month until our wedding. Hanna choreographed a phenomenal and easy dance for us! She was great at instructing us and giving us constructive criticism, and we had a lot of fun learning. We absolutely recommend this studio, and Hanna!
I am a reluctant, tall and rhythmically-challenged 39 year old man. My fiance is a former professional ballet dancer. How could that possibly translate into a successful wedding dance... well, it hasn't yet (wedding is in June). But I will say that I can now, for the first time, dance with my fiance and that's totally due to Roxanne and her team. If you're an excellent dancer, Roxanne will help you get better (or faster or stronger, I'm not sure what you want to get more of as a dancer). If you're clueless and think you hate dancing, you may still be those things after working with Roxanne- but buddy, you'll be able to dance. Call her, this is the easiest decision you'll make for your wedding.
